Ok, I've been trying to find the clamp shown on the mold in this post without luck. I searched for "clamp" and "latch" at LMI, StewMac, Rocker, Woodcraft, Fastenal, and Harbor Freight and couldn't find them. What kind of clamp is this, and where can I get it? thanks.

Harbor freight use to sell them but I'm not sure if they still do. I bought some from them a couple of years back and I had to really dig around their website to find them. I think they were called toggle clamps but I could be wrong on that.

I have extra so if you can't find them anywhere then PM me and I'll sell you some of mine.

The company that made them no longer is suppling them in the us. I now use another clamp. They are $12 a pcs plus shipping if you need them.
    Thanks again

AHA! Thanks fellas but I finally found them, or at least something similar. I remembered the company we used to order from when I worked at the machine shop. McMaster-Carr has them. They call them "Pull-Action Toggle Clamps". From $10.80 to $50 depending on size.

I think(?) De-Sta-Co is one of the main companies that makes these toggle clamps, although there are a lot of knock-offs of similar design.

Jon, a Google search for De-sta-co came up with LMI! Why didn't LMI's search find them when I typed in clamp!? Thanks!

I would rather buy from John Hall as well, he is a sponsor and he also contributes regularly with advice and tips, can't be a more dedicated member to our community than that.

DeStaco clapms...try MSC Industrial, they have tons of them in all shapes, sizes and applications. And spend the extra for the DeStaco brand. I've tried the knockoffs and they just don't measure up in quality, longevity and "clamping power".

Hank
